Suzuki have a lot to celebrate from this year’s What Car? Reliability Survey.
The Suzuki Celerio coming in 4th out of 23 with a 98.0% satisfaction rate in the ‘small and city cars’ category was the least of the Japanese giant’s achievements.
Suzuki has come in the first position overall.
The Suzuki SX4 S-cross eclipsed the Celerio’s impressive result by landing the top spot in the ‘small SUV’ category. But what’s more, the brand has come in first position overall.
In the annual reliability survey, owners report on their experience with a specific model for cars up to four years old. In 2018, a total of 31 car brands were measured, and the survey received over 18,000 respondents. Suzuki was voted to be the most reliable of them all.
Durability and reliability seem to be consistent factors across Suzuki’s brand
193 Suzuki owners contributed to the survey, all expressing complete satisfaction with the popular S-Cross SUV, which scored 100% reliability – indicating no faults at all. According to What Car?, many owners expressed that “the thing they like best about their SX4 S-Cross is its durability”, making this one of the nation’s favourite budget SUVs.
Durability and reliability seem to be consistent factors across Suzuki’s brand. As well as achieving the top spot for cars under four years old, the company managed to stay in the top five list for older cars, too.
